Hey Travel Bugsss, we are currently based just outside Boston. We would like to give you some reasons to visit Boston. Here are some reasons why June just might be the best month to do so.

First off the weather! We are just getting out of our rainy season (April showers bring May flowers) so most days should be fairly dry. On top of that it is warm, not too hot and not cold. Averaging 75 degrees fahrenheit. As most of you know it can get very cold in Boston during the winter season. Since we are just coming out of spring the scenery is beautiful. Trees blooming, flowers blossomed everywhere. The colors are breathtaking.

June has the perfect weather for all kinds of events and adventures. Take a relaxing stroll in Boston Commons, have kids with you? No problem! Boston Commons has a playground and The Frog Pond. The Frog Pond is a little pond (kiddie pool) that has a big water fountain in it, where kids can swim and play. Did i mention the frog pond turns into an ice rink for skating in the winter. The commons also has things like swan boats that you can ride for $3.50 for adults and just $2.00 for children. Explore the city! Walk around Boston's concrete jungle and find little gems. Try something new. Faneuil Hall, a great place to grab a bite to eat. Do some shopping and even just hang out and watch street performers.

Some events that go on in Boston are things like The North End Festivals. These festivals are a huge deal in Boston. They take place in the north end in Boston, and thousands fill the streets for delicious eats. Here is this years schedule for June 2017.

June 13, 2017 (Tuesday) – Saint Anthony of Padua Procession
5:00 pm Outdoor Mass at the St. Leonard Peace Garden
6:00 pm Candelit Procession – Starts at St. Leonard Church, Hanover & Prince Streets

June 25, 2017 – Saint Padre Pio Procession
2:00 Procession only – Starts at St. Leonard Church, Hanover & Prince Streets

Check out views at the Prudential Center observatory deck, or catch the sunset at the Bunker hill monument. Take a boat ride to Georges Island. Visit a local beach. There is just so much to do. A lot of locals and visitors will be out and about, relieved the cold weather has subsided for a few months. So locals will be taking advantage of the amazing weather, most will be exploring with you.

At night, get dressed up and head to a rooftop bar to catch some great views and a vibrant atmosphere. Take a load off after your long but exciting day of exploring. Hang out with some locals, I promise we are not too mean! Just kidding you will have a blast. June nights can still get a little chilly so be sure to bring a blazer or a light sweater.

This is only a very few reasons why Boston is a great place to visit in June. If you end up visiting Boston let us know what you think? Find a gem we would love to hear about it. And of course if you have any questions we will do our very best to help you out!

See ya Travel Bugsss hope to see you in Boston soon!
